A vibrant and welcoming visualisation of London's first carbon-negative pub!
Partnering with Jubba and Uber, we crafted two colourful visuals for the launch of London's first carbon-negative pub pop-up, The 55K Tonnes. Named to celebrate the 55,000 tonnes of air pollution that have been saved by Uber using electric cars since 2021, the pub features Pavegen flooring which transforms footsteps into electrical power, and energy-generating bicycles, so customers can generate energy while enjoying a beer!
We worked to craft visuals to illustrate the welcoming environment of the 55k Tonnes pub, showcasing the exterior and interior in clear detail filled with people enjoying a more sustainable drink.
Sometimes things need to be seen to be understood. That’s true for experiential experiences and events in physical spaces too. A strong visual eliminates guesswork, and visualising the space beforehand helps stakeholders see, refine, and perfect the vision long before production begins.
Not only that, illustrations can help build event anticipation and engagement before the doors even open.
...and that’s exactly what happened here!
Our images were used to create a buzz and promote the pub in press titles including METRO, Time Out, Evening Standard, Daily Mail, and Square Meal. While on social media, accounts including Historic Pub Crawls, Schooner Scorer and Bronte King all covered the event.
Without pre-visualisation, achieving this level of engagement and storytelling wouldn’t have been possible.
For brands looking to create memorable live experiences, visualisation isn’t just a tool—it’s a necessity. The 55k Tonnes Pub proved that by seeing the future before it’s built, you can ensure it delivers maximum impact when it arrives.
The 55k Tonnes on Great Peter Street, London, was open on October 7-9 2024.
