We were approached by the lovely people at Secret Cinema to produce a number of sci-fi inspired character designs for their Guardians Of The Galaxy live immersive experience. Working with the Secret Cinema creative team our artist James created these detailed colour illustrations which would appear on the event website to give inspiration for each clan’s look.

The concept of Secret Cinema is exactly that, it's a secret! So these designs were kept under wraps until the show launched and they could be seen in all their glory. Every person that bought a ticket to the show is assigned a persona for the duration of the event where they are tasked with embodying the spirit of their clan from rebellious 'Flamin' Raiders' to charming 'Cosmic Seekers'.

We produced initial sketches showing three members of each clan wearing different apparel. Once character sketches were approved the designs were worked up and coloured to a high spec finish.

We were lucky enough to visit the experience and see the Guardians in action, and if you haven’t had the chance to see the show yet we can fully recommend it!
